Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center has launched Spanish versions of the TBPAC, Patel Conservatory and Opera Tampa Web sites.
After accessing TBPAC.ORG, PATELCONSERVATORY.ORG or OPERATAMPA.ORG, users can now click an "en Español" link that will take them directly to a Spanish version of the site.
The three websites contain a total of more than 950 pages, all of which are now available in Spanish. However, the websites are updated constantly and new material may take a few days to be translated.
With the addition of these websites, the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center hopes to provide easier access to information for the growing Spanish-speaking audiences of the Tampa Bay area. The amount of Latin programming at The Center has increased, and this year The Center will present five concerts as part of Arte 2005 -- Tampa Bay's Festival of the Americas.
The Center's Web sites were translated by MotionPoint Corporation. MotionPoint Corporation is a technology company that provides retailers, government, e-commerce organizations and more with a range of multi-lingual consumer communication services for their online business operations. By combining best-of-class professional human translations with proprietary software tools that remove any client IT development and technical integration, MotionPoint was able to launch the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center Spanish website in less than 60 days. Additionally, there are no ongoing maintenance headaches because MotionPoint's proprietary tools dynamically keep the Spanish site in sync with its English counterpart (including text, translatable images, alt tags, meta tags, etc.). The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center staff continues to do what they always do (monitor and update the English-language site as usual), and MotionPoint maintains the Spanish version of the site.
