MotionPoint, the world’s leading business globalization platform, today announced that two technology industry veterans have joined the company’s executive leadership. Jimmy Hale joined as vice president of solutions, and Darren Burris as vice president of channels and alliances.
The executives arrive following MotionPoint’s continued growth and a recent $17 million investment round to fund the tech company’s ongoing global expansion, led by Morgan Stanley’s North Haven and Riverwood Capital.
Hale will help MotionPoint clients implement technologies and solutions to drive traffic, engagement and business results in key markets around the world. He will collaborate closely with MotionPoint’s sales, engineering, client services and marketing teams to deliver the best solution for each client. Prior to joining MotionPoint, Hale worked in leadership roles with companies such as Professional Access, AAXIS Group, ATG, and imc2. He also served as vice president of direct and online systems for Neiman Marcus.
Burris will focus on developing and driving company partner strategy, including collaboration with a growing collection of complementary software and service organizations. Before joining MotionPoint, Burris led worldwide channel sales and alliances for Magento/eBay Enterprise at eBay Inc. Prior to eBay, he also served as vice president of channels & alliances for market leading companies including SapientNitro, Oracle and ATG.
